The Age of Order is one of the secret endings that you can obtain in Elden Ring. To get it, you’ll need to complete a quest chain that involves a peculiar NPC that you’ll meet during your travels. Elden Ring Age of Order secret ending guide – Where to find Scribe Corhyn and Goldmask

Finding Scribe Corhyn and Goldmask in Elden Ring

Scribe Corhyn is one of the NPCs you’ll meet in Roundtable Hold. As you continue to progress in the campaign, he’ll tell you that he’s going on a journey.

You’ll next meet him in Altus Plateau. Look for the Altus Highway Junction bonfire and head north to where the map stele is. Corhyn will be there and he’ll talk about a certain Goldmask.

To find Goldmask in Elden Ring, go to the Forest-Spanning Greatbridge and use the teleporter. You’ll arrive at the northern section of the region and, if you go to the edge of the bridge, you’ll see Goldmask pointing at the Erdtree.

After talking to him, you can go back to Corhyn to tell him of his pal’s whereabouts. Return to Goldmask’s spot (you might need to reload your save) to see both of them there.

What if Corhyn’s already dead?

There’s a fateful decision much later in the Forge of the Giants. Since this is a “soft” point of no return, it will cause Corhyn to die. You’ll find his Bell Bearing near the Altus Plateau map stele assuming you didn’t take him to meet Goldmask.

On the bright side, you can still continue the steps since Goldmask is the important NPC here. However, make sure you do everything prior to clearing Crumbling Farum Azula as there are sections that will become inaccessible down the line.

Venturing forth into Leyndell Royal Capital

Whether or not Corhyn is alive, you’ll meet Goldmask later in Leyndell Royal Capital. Progress further until you reach a bonfire called West Capital Rampart. Follow it southeast until you see a Valiant Gargoyle and large branches, with the colosseum towering beyond.

Run past the mobs and up the sloping path. You should see Goldmask there, silent and pointing at something.

The Golden Order Principia and Law of Regression spell

As mentioned in our Incantations and Prayerbooks guide, one particular item that you can acquire is the Golden Order Principia. To get it, defeat the specter of Godfrey, First Elden Lord, which gives you access to the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace/bonfire.

Climb up the branch and go out the yard. Then, look back at the building to see an opening. Head inside and use the other branches to claim this item.

Note 1: If Corhyn is alive, he’ll be where Goldmask is near the colosseum. You can simply give him this item to learn the Law of Regression spell. If he’s dead, then you can visit the Church of Vows so you can hand over the item and learn the spell from Miriel, the Turtle Pope.

Note 2: The Law of Regression spell requires 37 INT just to be cast, so you might need to respec using Larval Tears if you’ve ignored your character’s INT stat.

Next, go back to the Erdtree Sanctuary, use the western exit, and ride the lift down. Below, you’ll find a statue of Radagon, with a message saying that “Regression alone reveals secrets.”

Cast the Law of Regression spell to transform the statue into a figure of Marika. Then, read the message that says “Radagon is Marika.” Go back to Goldmask at the colosseum and tell him about this information to receive the Golden Order Totality emote.

Note: If you clear Crumbling Farum Azula, parts of the city will be buried in rubble. This will prevent you from seeing the secret message. Likewise, Goldmask will no longer be in his usual spot.

Stargazers’ Ruins in the Mountaintops of the Giants

Continue the campaign until you’re at the Mountaintops of the Giants. Explore at your leisure until you see the Freezing Lake or Snow Valley Ruins Overlook Site of Grace. From either of these spots, travel west past all the Tibia Mariner Skeleton Behemoths and go to Stargazers’ Ruins.

Look for the bridge at the southeastern section of that area to find Goldmask. Talk to him even though he doesn’t say anything.

Leyndell Ashen Capital

Progress further until you clear Crumbling Farum Azula. You’ll then find yourself in Leyndell Ashen Capital, with much of the city’s landmarks buried in rubble. Your goal now is to look for the dead dragon’s wings.

Climb the wings and the ladder to stumble upon the West Capital Ramparts (where you saw the Valiant Gargoyle earlier). Instead of heading up the slope to the colosseum, just go to the end of the bridge.

Look down below to your left to see a bunch of Poison Flowers, as well as another pathway. Follow this path until you see Goldmask’s corpse and the Mending Rune of Perfect Order in Elden Ring.

As usual, just defeat the last few bosses that the game throws your way. After eliminating the final boss, you’ll be able to interact with the Fractured Marika. If you choose the Mending Rune of Perfect Order, you can watch the Age of Order secret ending in Elden Ring.

Note: Make sure that you didn’t access the Flame of Frenzy/Three Fingers’ chamber or this will lock you out of other ending selections.
